Job description


We are looking for a talented team player to join the Product Management Team as a UX/UI Designer.
Our ideal candidate is someone technical with a natural ability to find simple solutions applied to complex problems, but also creative and able to reinvent schemes in order to provide the best possible experience for our users.

Responsibilities


  • Participate with the Product Management Team in writing the definition of new GEOSATIS features and products
  • Collaborate with the GEOSATIS Commercial, DevOps and R&D teams to ensure detailed and accurate specifications prior to new feature or product development
  • Ensure consistency within GEOSATIS product line information by documenting finalized specifications and the impact of new features or changes on existing workflows
  • Assist in formal user documentation
  • Understand and advocate for GEOSATIS users’ wants, needs and pain points
  • Build wireframes, visual or interactive prototypes and presentations as needed for definition, proof of concept and implementation
  • Demonstrate communication skills and articulate design decisions to stakeholders

Requirements


  • Engineering or MSc/BSc degree with a User Centered Approach sensitivity
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position – portfolio appreciated
  • Software development background or solid knowledges in Web development field
  • Good understanding in latest Front-End technologies is a plus
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and prototyping tools (InVision, Adobe XD, or else)
  • Some experience working with Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools Atlassian Confluence/Jira is a plus
  • Self-starter with a good ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional and agile environment
  • Problem solving minded and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with an eye for the smallest of details
  • Curious, open-minded, positive, enthusiastically collaborative and kind attitude with ability to work with an internal team
  • Broad or secondary design skills outside your core specialty: visual / graphic design is a plus
  • Proficient English written and oral skills (French is a plus)
